About.

A small home studio, a patient workflow, and a stubborn belief that every faded photograph deserves another look.

// studio · est. 2018

I'm Inzamam. I run a one-person photo restoration studio out of a quiet room with a calibrated display, a flatbed scanner built for archival work, and an embarrassing number of microfiber cloths. I started in 2018 after restoring my own grandmother's wedding photo from 1942 — a print that had been water-damaged in a basement flood, curled and stained to the point where my family had given up on it.

Bringing that single photograph back to life changed how I thought about images. It also turned out that a lot of other people had photographs in similar condition, with no one to ask for help. So the studio grew — slowly, deliberately, one photograph at a time.

Eight years on, I've worked on wedding albums, family archives, historical-society collections, and the small handful of personal photographs that mean everything to one person and nothing to anyone else. Every photograph is hand-finished. No automated pipelines, no AI-only shortcuts. Just the time and attention the image needs.

Most jobs complete in 2–4 business days. I quote after seeing the photo, not before, because condition is everything. Sometimes what's recoverable is more than the client expected; sometimes it's less. I tell you which it is, in plain language, before any work begins.

I work with clients from 40+ countries. The workflow is the same regardless: a careful scan, an honest assessment, a quote, the restoration itself, and a written summary of what was done and why. Files are delivered as both print-ready TIFF and web-friendly JPEG, sized for whatever framing you have in mind.

If you have a photograph you'd like restored, send a message through the contact form and I'll get back to you within 24 hours. No deposit, no commitment — just an honest look at what's possible.

// honest_assessment

Honest before any work begins.

I review every photo before quoting and tell you what's actually recoverable — including which missing details will need to be reconstructed from context rather than recovered directly.

// patience_over_speed

Patience over speed.

Most jobs complete in 2–4 days. Rush turnaround is available for time-sensitive projects — anniversaries, memorials, gifts — but I never rush the work itself.

// a_personal_note

A personal note on every delivery.

Each restoration is delivered with a short written summary of what was done and why, so you understand the choices made — and what to look for if a future restoration might be needed.

// ready?

Have a photograph that needs a second chance?

Send a message with a brief description — what it is, what condition it's in, and what you'd like restored. I'll respond within 24 hours with an honest assessment and a quote.
